Ana, an ant, lived on a hill by the river. Nat, her friend ant, also lived there. The two were young and energetic, enjoying each other\u2019s company. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One fine morning, Ana and Nat were out in the field playing. Nat looked at the sky and saw cloud building up over the hill.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI think rain is coming,\u201d Nat told Ana. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana loved playing. While Nat, too, loved playing, she also knew the importance of time. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The cloud started getting thicker and thicker. And then, they turned darker. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nat rushed home and started working on her shelter. She collected twigs one by one and strengthened her roof. She then collected food particles to store for the possible storm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana found new mates to play with. She continued to have fun in the field, laughing at Nat for spending her time mending the house. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not going to rain much, I know,\u201d Ana told Nat. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou worry too much. Even if it rains, we will not have much trouble.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When it didn\u2019t rain in the evening, Ana laughed louder at Nat. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI told you it will not rain,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana\u2019s house was weak. She hadn\u2019t stored any food either for bad weather. But she didn\u2019t care. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And then what Nat had feared, happened. There was a storm! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana\u2019s weak house was not able to withstand the storm. The rain destroyed it, and winds broke the walls. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana was soon homeless in the middle of the storm. Battered and broken, she was looking for a shelter. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nat\u2019s house was unaffected. The storm had caused it no harm. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ana knocked at her friend\u2019s door, and Nat responded. She got Ana inside and gave her a blanket and food. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The storm finally passed and the sun came out in the morning. Nat made breakfast for the two of them. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe all shall value time and prepare for a storm while we can,\u201d Nat advised Ana. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
